WORK EXPERIENCE

Aug 2006 to Aug 20017            3rd and 4th year Apprentice

                                                       Laurieton Hotel, Laurieton

                                                       NSW, AUSTRALIA

 

Responsibilities

  • Working under head chef and second chef preparing food for daily lunch and dinner services in small busy kitchen.

  • Daily cleaning duties: floors, deep fryer, grill and dry store.

  • Occasional pass running and ordering with the head chef to learn the basic running of a kitchen.

Achievements

  • Raised just over $3000 for ‘shave for cure’ fundraising function which I personally promoted.

  • By the end of my employment I had cooked on every section successfully.

  • Ability to work well with the head chef and other staff.

​

Reason for Leaving

  • Concluded time at Laurieton Hotel to pursue a career in fine dining at Bathers Pavilion.
