Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the whole operations of 3 “Beanstro” full service restaurants and 3 semi- service “Hybrid” restaurants under the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Company.

  • Manage both front of house and back of house in day to day operations, roster planning, staff planning, marketing strategies for business.

  • Train and oversee training of all kitchen staff and front of house staff.

  • Handing down SOP’s to kitchen Chef and team to follow up with and drive the product quality forward.

  • Maintain a restaurant under the guidelines of HALAL requirements and restrictions.

  • Induction of new employee’s and employee managing.

  • New food product research for future menu’s.

  • Report daily sales, daily COGS tracking, weekly/monthly sales reports, Inventory/Stocktake, Payroll management and petty cash control.

  • Assist on the ground in any section FOH/BOH whenever the assistance needed.

Achievements:

  • Entire preparing, buying equipment, and consulting in plans of entire layout of 1 “Hybrid” restaurant and 2 “Beanstro” restaurants to ensure maximum performance of restaurant can be ensured, and launching each restaurant.

  • Assist in development of front of house SOP for staffs in regards to customer service within a table service restaurant.

  • Sharing knowledge with kitchen employees and increasing product quality in regards to cooking style, product storage, kitchen hygiene,and product shelf life.

  • Reduction of excessive labour by over $10k per month within one restaurant and continued labour management to maintain the current labor figure.

  • Meeting with marketing teams of different companies to discuss A & P and marketing strategies between our company and their branding.
